Sunday School Numbers Without the Scramble

Every fall, churches are asked to report their numbers: attendance, enrollment, how many classes meet. If you've ever spent an evening digging through old rolls and sticky notes to answer a survey, this one is for you.

The Church Attendance & Annual Report Tracker is an Excel workbook that dates every Sunday of your reporting year from one starting date you set, with five classes to start you off: Men, Ladies, Couples, Children and Teens. It tracks members and visitors separately for each class, works out the weekly totals and the year-to-date averages for you, and has its own tabs for worship attendance and Vacation Bible School, plus baptisms, membership changes and mission engagements. A Survey Summary tab then gathers the numbers the annual survey asks for. The totals are ready when someone asks for them. It's built for the person who actually does the counting, usually a volunteer or the church secretary, and it's yours to adjust: add classes, change the categories, and make it fit how your church counts.

It's a one-time purchase at $29, with no subscription, and you can use it year after year.

Get the Church Attendance & Annual Report Tracker here: 2sparrows.biz/tools, where you can see all five church workbooks.

If your church's annual survey is open right now (the ACP Statistical Profile, due October 16), this is a good week to start the habit, so next year's numbers are a two-minute job.
