Hi, I'm Melissa — welcome to the blog!

2 Sparrows started the way a lot of good things do: unexpectedly. After more than 30 years in accounting, mostly working with churches, the company I worked for was taken over, and I found myself at a crossroads. A friend who happens to be a lawyer suggested I stop freelancing and actually build something official. So I did.

What started as simple welcome stickers for church events has grown into a whole line of faith-based sticker designs, alongside the web design and bookkeeping work I've always loved doing for churches like Plainview. Looking back, I can see God's hand in every step of it — this whole thing is His, and I want Him to get the glory for it.

The name "On Wings" comes from Matthew 10:29 — "Not one sparrow falls to the ground apart from your Father's will." It's a reminder that even the smallest things are seen and cared for, and it felt right for a little business built one sticker, one website, one spreadsheet at a time.
