A Website That Feels Like a Warm Welcome: Heights Baptist Church

I love it when a website actually does its job — helps people feel at home before they've even walked through the doors. That was the goal when I took on the Heights Baptist Church project.
I started from scratch: designed the logo and full visual identity first, then built the website to match, so the online experience carries the same warmth as an in-person Sunday morning.
Under the hood, the site brings together everything a church needs in one place:
A blog for news and updates
A private, members-only section with secure login
An events calendar
Small group and ministry pages
Online giving
Volunteer sign-up
One of my favorite touches is the interactive staff page, where visitors can browse photos and short bios of the church's leaders before ever meeting them in person.
The result is one home base for all of a church's communication and connection — no more scattered flyers, group texts, and outdated bulletin boards. You can see the live site at hbcpcola.org.
